This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowl- edge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Please charge 2 or 4 batteries simultaneously. (fig 3) AA and AAA type batteries cannot be charged by using two slots of one side of a charger together. The indicator will blink and charging will not be possible. (fig 4) A battery cannot be charged one individual. (fig 5) 1) Observe polarity by matching (+) and (-) on the

batteries to (+) and (-) on the charger. Insert the batteries from the (-) terminals, and then the (+) terminals into the (+) contacts. (fig 2)

2) Plug charger into standard 100240 V AC outlet; 3) Charging indicator lights should be lit, indicating that

charging is being conducted. If the indicator does not light or blinks:

a) Make sure batteries are inserted, making proper contact with terminals in each slot;

b) Check whether the power plug contacts have deteriorated.

c) Check whether the batteries you are using are deteriorated or nonrechargeable.

4) After charging time, shown in Table 1, unplug charger from AC outlet and remove batteries.

For safety protection, this charger has auto-off function after approximately 13 hours, however charging times shown in Table 1 are recommended for longer battery life. MAINTENANCE, CARE AND CLEANING Unplug charger from AC outlet. Clean with a dry cloth to remove dirt and grime. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by

children without supervision.
