Brother DCP-T300 Specification

The Brother DCP-T300 is an all-in-one inkjet printer designed to deliver high-quality printing, scanning, and copying functionalities. It features a user-friendly interface with an integrated ink tank system that offers cost-effective and efficient printing solutions, ideal for both home and small office environments. The printer supports a maximum print resolution of up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, ensuring sharp and vibrant output for both text and images. It can achieve print speeds of up to 11 pages per minute for monochrome documents and 6 pages per minute for color documents, which caters well to moderate printing demands.

The DCP-T300 is equipped with a flatbed scanner that supports an optical resolution of up to 1200 x 2400 dpi, providing clear and precise digitization of documents and photos. Its copying function allows for easy duplication with a maximum copy speed of approximately 4.8 copies per minute for color and 11 copies per minute for monochrome. The device’s paper handling capacity includes a 100-sheet input tray and a 50-sheet output tray, accommodating a variety of paper types and sizes, including A4, letter, and legal.

Connectivity options are straightforward, utilizing a standard USB 2.0 interface to ensure reliable connectivity with various devices. The printer’s design incorporates easy-access refillable ink tanks, which significantly reduce the cost per page and support high-volume printing with minimal interruptions. The Brother DCP-T300 is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems, supporting various print functions and software to enhance productivity. Overall, this printer offers a balanced combination of performance, ease of use, and economical operation, making it a practical choice for users seeking a reliable multi-function inkjet printer.

To clean the print head, press the ‘Ink’ button on the printer, then use the arrow keys to select ‘Cleaning’. Press ‘OK’ to start the cleaning process.

Ensure that the ink tanks are full and properly installed. Perform a print head cleaning and check the print quality settings. If the issue persists, run a nozzle check.

Open the ink tank cover, press the ‘Stop/Exit’ button, and then press the ‘Mono Start’ button. Select the color you want to reset using the arrow keys, then press ‘OK’ to reset.

The ‘Ink Absorber Full’ error indicates that the ink absorber pad is full. This requires servicing by a qualified technician to replace or clean the absorber pad.

The Brother DCP-T300 does not support wireless networking. You can connect it to a computer using a USB cable for printing.

To scan a document, place it on the scanner glass, press the ‘Scan’ button, and use the arrow keys to select ‘Scan to PC’. Ensure your computer is connected and has the necessary drivers installed.

Turn off the printer and gently remove any jammed paper from the paper tray and output slot. Check for any remaining pieces inside the printer before closing it and turning it back on.

Ensure the cartridges are installed correctly and are compatible with the printer. If the issue persists, remove and reinstall the cartridges, and clean the cartridge contacts if necessary.

Regularly clean the print head, check the ink levels, and run a nozzle check. Ensure the printer is kept clean and dust-free, and perform regular print quality checks.

Use high-quality paper, check the print settings for the correct media type, and perform a print head cleaning. Ensure the ink tanks are full and the printer is on a stable surface.
