Chymoral Forte tablet is made from the combination of two ingredients: trypsin and chymotrypsin. These are proteolytic enzymes used in different medical conditions such as swollen muscle injuries, swelling due to blood clots, hand fractures, burn, and cataract surgery.
- Trypsin is a proteolytic enzyme produced by the pancreas in the active form that helps you break down the protein and help you indigestion. It works as in the small intestine and it breaks down proteins, continuing the process of digestion that began in the stomach.
- Chymotrypsin is also a digestive enzyme that speeds up some chemical reaction in the body. It acts in the duodenum, where it degrades proteins and polypeptides. It belongs to a group of anti-inflammatory enzymes.
According to a study, these two enzymes promote speedier recovery and better resolution of inflammatory signs and symptoms due to tissue injury than several other existing enzyme preparations.
These enzymes also have analgesic effects and reduce pain associated with healing.
Clinical trials have authenticated trypsin and chymotrypsin’s efficacy and safety in accidental injuries, burns, and sciatica.

- Stabilized cases- 1tablet four times a day
Chemical composition of Chymoral Forte
Chymoral Forte contains trypsin and chymotrypsin as active ingredients, both of which are proteolytic enzymes that are extracted from the pancreas. Chymotrypsin is from the activation of chymotrypsinogen and trypsin from activation of trypsinogen. It contains 100,000 AU of the enzymes combined in the ratio of 6:1 of trypsin: chymotrypsin.
Mechanism of Action (MOA) of Chymoral Forte
The two enzymes trypsin and chymotrypsin have proteolytic properties, they work by cleaving proteins into amino acids that are smaller fragments or building blocks of proteins. The enzyme trypsin cleaves proteins at arginine residues and lysine residues while chymotrypsin cleaves amino acids that are hydrophobic. They can also form peptones during the proteolysis.
The drug uses fibrinolytic action. ‘PLASMIN’ an agent of the fibrinolytic action is facilitated resulting in the restoration of circulation that results in resolving problems with edema and blood clots in tissues or hematoma. This action also facilitates the removal of debris by phagocytosis.
The drug increases the levels of APR which is a modulator of vascular response reducing scarring and damage that is necrotic.
It also works by reduction of mediators that are pro-inflammatory, thus modulating inflammation. Early administration of enzymes clears microcirculation that is fibrin blocked, allowing inflammations to begin resolving early and commencement of healing early.
The drug also lead to increase in anti-oxidative levels, both enzymatic and non-enzymatic. This improves the efficacy of the drug anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. The drug also increases the efficiency of natural killer cells including macrophages to carry out phagocytosis.
It also reduces the occurrence of postoperative complications like shock as it causes a reduction in the loss of albumin and that of pre-albumin following surgical procedures.

These tablets, which contain the active substance trypsin-chymotrypsin, provide relief from a number of ailments, such as tissue damage, swelling, and bruises. Everything you need to know about Chymoral Forte Tablets—from their uses and dosage to possible side effects and precautions—will be covered in this extensive guide. This article will give you important information about Chymoral Forte Tablets and how it can help you manage your health, whether you’re thinking about taking them or have already been prescribed them.
Chymoral Forte Tablets
Chymoral Forte Tablets contain trypsin-chymotrypsin, a combination of two enzymes with strong anti-inflammatory and proteolytic qualities. Together, trypsin and chymotrypsin can break down proteins, lessen inflammation, and aid in tissue healing. Because of this, Chymoral Forte Tablets are useful for reducing pain and swelling brought on by a variety of illnesses, including musculoskeletal problems, surgical operations, and sports injuries.
Uses of Chymoral Forte Tablets
- Surgical Recovery: Following orthopaedic, dental, and plastic surgery operations, patients are frequently offered Chymoral Forte Tablets to assist with their recuperation. Chymoral Forte Tablets aid in the relief of post-operative pain and swelling by decreasing inflammation and speeding up tissue healing, enabling patients to recuperate more easily.
- Sports ailments: Sprains, strains, and contusions are among the common sports-related ailments that athletes and active people suffer. By lowering inflammation and encouraging tissue repair, Chymoral Forte Tablets can expedite the healing process and allow athletes to resume their activities sooner.
- Trauma and Bruising: Trauma and accidents can result in tissue damage and bruising, which can hurt and cause discomfort. Chymoral Forte Tablets can aid with these symptoms by lowering swelling and dissolving blood clots, which facilitates faster healing from the body.
- Musculoskeletal Disorders: Ailments like bursitis, tendinitis, and arthritis can be a reason for inflammation and pain in the joints and muscles. Chymoral Forte Tablets help people control their symptoms more skillfully by lowering inflammation and increasing mobility.
Dosage and Administration
Usually taken orally, with or without food, Chymoral Forte Tablets should be taken as prescribed by a healthcare provider. Depending on the severity of the ailment and unique patient circumstances, different dosages may be advised. For your therapy to be safe and effective, you must adhere to your doctor’s recommendations and the recommended dosage.
Side Effects and Precautions
Even though Chymoral Forte Tablets are usually well accepted, some people may experience negative side effects. Gastrointestinal pain, such as nausea, vomiting, or diarrhoea, is a common adverse effect. Skin irritation or allergic reactions may happen rarely. If you use Chymoral Forte Tablets and encounter any strange or serious side effects, you should definitely talk to your doctor.
Chymoral Forte Tablets should be used with caution, particularly in people who have a history of allergies, gastrointestinal problems, or bleeding disorders. Before taking Chymoral Forte Tablets, women who are pregnant or lactating should speak with their healthcare physician since there may not be enough safety information available for these groups.
Alternative Forms and Combinations
Chymoral Forte is available in various formats in addition to tablets, including injections and capsules. Depending on the patient’s preferences, these alternate formulations may offer varying benefits in terms of convenient administration and flexible dosing.
Additionally, chymoral forte could be sold in conjunction with other prescriptions, including analgesics or painkillers. These combination therapies may be more effective in treating some illnesses, such as excruciating pain or inflammation. To ensure safety and compatibility, you must speak with a healthcare provider prior to beginning any combination therapy.
