Mifo O5 — What’s Included
Both earbuds will automatically power off by when no activity is detected for 5 minutes. IMPORTANT: Before use, remove the protective film under each earbud and then place earbuds into the charging box for at least ten minutes.

Listening for the First Time
- Identify the left and right channel. In addition to colour indicators, “L” for left and “R” for right are marked.
- Place earbuds into your ears. If needed, swap silicon ear tips for comfort and stability.

Pairing the Mifo O5 with a Bluetooth Device
Left and Right earbuds pair automatically upon removal
IMPORTANT: The Mifo O5 earbuds are designed to pair with each other out of the box. Simply remove the left and right earbuds from the charging box simultaneously to activate pairing mode. Each earbud will flash red and blue alternately. Once automatic pairing has finished, only the right earbud’s indicator light will flash red and blue alternately.
In the rare case of earbuds failing to pair with each other, please see the following troubleshooting section of this manual.

Troubleshooting: Pair left and right earbuds manually
- Press and hold the power on/off button of each earbud for 2 seconds to enter into pairing mode.
- Listen for audio confirmation that the earbuds are connected.

Troubleshooting: Factory Resetting the O5
In the event pairing is unsuccessful or you are introducing a new replacement earbud to a mate, a factory reset may be required.
To perform a reset, please take the following steps:
- «Forget» the O5 device from your list of Bluetooth devices
- Set the earbuds in the charging box for 5-10 seconds
- Remove the earbuds, and then hold the power button on each for about 5 seconds until they turn off (the light will stop flashing)
- Hold down the power button on each earbud once again for about 10 seconds until you see a red light blink twice
- Now, place the earbuds back into the charging box for 5-10 seconds
- Remove the earbuds from the charging box and listen for the message «Dual earbuds pairing is successful»
- Now find the O5 device in your Bluetooth list and connect with your phone or other device — NOTE: You may see the left or right earbud appear in your list of Bluetooth devices. Take care to connect only to the device named: mifo_O5
Troubleshooting: Changing Language
If the earbud voice prompt language is incorrect, press the power button on the right earbud 5 times in succession to cycle through available languages. Listen for the correct language voice prompt to confirm you have selected a new language.
Pairing dual earbuds with a Bluetooth Device
- Remove both earbuds from the included charging case.
- Set your device to find new Bluetooth devices.
- Select mifo_O5 to pair.
IMPORTANT
During the pairing process, the right earbud will flash red and blue alternately. Once pairing is complete, flashing will cease. The Mifo O5 is designed to automatically unpair from all devices when placed in the charging box. You need only remove either earbud from the box again to re-pair with your preferred devices.

Pairing a single earbud with a Bluetooth Device
The Mifo O5 can work as a single earbud should you desire.
- Remove a single earbud — either left or right — from the included charging case and set your device to find new Bluetooth devices.
- Press and hold the power on/off button of the earbud for 3 seconds.
- Select mifo_O5 to pair.
IMPORTANT
During the pairing process, the earbud will flash red and blue alternately. Once pairing is complete, flashing will cease.

On-Earbud Button Functions
1. POWER ON/OFF BUTTON FUNCTIONS
Pair earbuds that are not connecting to one another: Press and hold the power on/off button of each earbud for 2 seconds to enter into automatic pairing mode.
Power on: Press and hold the power on/off button of left or right earbud for 1 second to power on.
Power off: Press and hold the power on/off button of left or right earbud for 5 seconds to power off. Red indicator light will flash twice.
2. MANAGE TELEPHONE CALLS
Answer an incoming call: Press the power on/off button on either earbud during an incoming call to answer.
Hang up a call: Press the power on/off button on either earbud during the course of a call to hang up.
3. REJECT AN INCOMING CALL
Press the power on/off button two times quickly on either earbud during an incoming call to reject the call.
4. PAUSE/PLAY STREAMING OR RECORDED AUDIO
Press the power on/off button on either earbud while listening to audio to pause. Press again to resume.
5. RESET THE EARBUDS
In the rare case of repeated failed pairing or an unstable signal, press and hold the on/off button of both earbuds simultaneously for 10 seconds until the indicator on each earbud blinks red twice. Place back into the charging case for a few seconds, then remove to re-activate.
6. INCREASE OR REDUCE VOLUME
Dual earbud mode: Press the left earbud volume button to reduce volume, and the right earbud volume button to increase volume.
Single earbud mode: Press the volume button. Volume will cycle, continue pressing until the desired volume is achieved.
7. PREVIOUS/NEXT AUDIO TRACK
Next track: While an audio track is playing, hold the “Volume +” button on the right earbud for 2 seconds to advance one track.
Previous track: While an audio track is playing, hold the “Volume -” button on the left earbud for 2 seconds to listen to the previous track.
8. TRANSPARENCY MODE (SAFETY ENVIRONMENT MODE)
Press and hold power on/off button for 2 seconds to enter or exit transparency mode. This will allow ambient noise to filter through the earbud via microphone amplification.

Charging the Mifo O5
1. Charging the case
Attach the included micro-USB cable to the charging case and plug into a powered USB outlet. Charging time is typically 30-60 minutes.
2. Charging the earbuds
Place each earbud into it’s corresponding charging dock in the included charging case. Magnetic contacts lock the earbuds in place.
The LED indicator displays the charging status as follows:
- Charging: Red indicator light pulsing.
- Fully charged: Blue indicator lights pulse once then stops.
Charging case capacity indicators: The Mifo O5 includes a variety of visual cues to indicate charge level.
- When the charging case battery capacity is at 60% or more, the center green LED indicator will remain on.
- When charging case battery capacity is between 40-60%, the white LED indicator on the side of the charging case will remain on.
- When charging case battery capacity is between 30-40%, the center red LED indicator will remain on.
- When charging case battery capacity is less than 30%, the center red LED indicator will flash.

How To Pair The Earbuds?
To iOS and Android phones
Step 1: Take both earbuds out of the charging case. They will automatically turn on and be ready to pair.

To charge the earbuds, all you have to do is to place them into the charging case and close the lid. The earbuds will start charging automatically.

To charge the charging case, all you have to do is plug a 5V USB Type-C cable into the port on the charging case. It will start charging automatically.
What Do The Lights Mean?

- Red light flashing twice: Earbuds turn on/off.

- Center red light flashing: Case has less than 30% of battery capacity.

Some Common Problems & Troubleshooting
Left/Right/One side of the earbuds has stopped working
If this happens, it may be because it is low on battery or it did not connect correctly with the device. To fix this, you can do the following:
1. Try charging the earbud that is not working or both, placing them in the charging case.
2. Try factory resetting the earbuds.
3. Check if the earbuds are operating within a normal working range
If that doesn’t work, the earbud is probably faulty, and I can go for a refund or replacement of it.
Left/Right/One side of the earbuds has a low volume
If this happens, it may be because the earbuds are dirty or the volume is set low. To fix this, you can do the following:
1. Try cleaning the earbud using a cotton swab or carefully clean the mesh with a pin.
2. Try factory resetting the earbuds.
The microphone is not working
If this happens, it can be because the microphone is muted, or the earbuds are badly positioned. To fix this, you can do the following:
If the microphone is muted, check the device microphone volume. If that doesn’t work, that means that there might be a defect in the earbuds, so try replacing them or getting a refund.
The earbuds are not connecting to Windows/laptop/PC
If the earbuds are earbuds not connecting, it can be because the Bluetooth on the computer has a pairing problem. To fix this, you can do the following:
1. Try disabling Bluetooth from nearby devices >>> then activate the pairing mode of the earbuds, pair and connect earbuds from Settings >>> Bluetooth & other devices >>> Add a new device >>>> Select Bluetooth.
2. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Bluetooth driver, or updating the Bluetooth driver. All can be done in Manage >>> Device Manager, reset earbuds (if available), and then repeat the step.
3. Try resetting the earbuds.

Bluetooth pairing
1. Take out the left and right ears at the same time, both ears will be

Сегодня мы снова поговорим о полностью беспроводных наушниках. На этот раз это будет бренд Mifo и их флагманская модель O5 Professional. Основными достоинствами которой являются: внушительной емкости комплектный кейс, небольшие габариты, богатый выбор насадок, поддержка блютуз 5 версии, AAC кодека и, конечно же, очень достойное качество звука. Что и не удивительно, ведь в качестве излучателя здесь, впервые на моей памяти, используется не динамический, а арматурный модуль с уравновешенным якорем.

Распаковка и комплектация
Упаковка наушников достаточно полно раскрывает вопрос относительно их технических характеристик.
Единственное, на что стоит обратить внимание — это обозначение класса модели.
Для сомневающихся, здесь же присутствует стираемый слой проверки наушников на оригинальность.
В комплекте находим просто кучу макулатуры, MicroUSB кабель для зарядки кейса и мешок с амбушюрами.
Насадок здесь действительно много, но я бы разделил их ровно на два вида, по геометрии купола.
Хотя, не смотря на внешнюю разницу, АЧХ с ними у наушников не отличаются, да и конструкция в принципе аналогичная.
Дизайн/Эргономика
Продолжая тематику амбушюр, хочется добавить, что даже на мой достаточно широкий ушной канал в комплекте нашлись подходящие насадки и, что очень важно, кейс с ними нормально закрывается.
Сидят Mifo O5 в ушах очень комфортно. Они маленькие, практически не заметные, при этом дают отличную пассивную звукоизоляцию и легко управляются на ощупь.
Кейс в данной модели компактный, но тяжеленький по весу. Еще бы, внутри скрывается аккумулятор на 2600 мАч, способный зарядить наушники аж 15 раз и обеспечить работу на целых 100 часов. Где сами ушки заряжаются около 2 часов, а работают 6-7, в зависимости от использования.
Выполнен кейс полностью из металла, а закрывается на магнитную защелку.
Причем механизм сделан весьма нестандартно.
Светодиод внутри кейса говорит о зарядке наушников, для которых присутствуют целых 3 контактных клеммы.
Естественно, сами наушники также крепятся на мощные магниты и не выпадают даже при сильной тряске.
Сбоку кейса расположился MicroUSB порт и светодиод. Пока он мигает — кейс заряжается.
Снизу — ничего интересного.
Сами чашечки с внутренней стороны выполнены из матового пластика, а с внешней — из металла.
Тут мы находим три контактных площадки, звуковод и обозначение левый-правый.
С торца звуковод прикрыт металлической сеточкой.
А с боку — имеет специальный выступ для удержания амбушюр.
С нижней части можно найти отверстие для микрофона, которое, скорее всего, сочетает в себе функцию компенсационного.
На внешней части корпуса присутствует индикаторный светодиод и две маленькие механические кнопочки.
Одна из которых отвечает за громкость, а вторая — за паузу и реакцию на звонок. Ими же можно переключать треки во всех направлениях.
Кстати, красный и синий ободок у наушников — тоже не совсем дизайнерский изыск. Так маркируется правый (красный) и левый (синий) ушной канал.
Ну, с обязательной частью мы справились, теперь перейдем к нюансам и особенностям. К примеру то, что меня первое время несколько смущало — это еле слышный высокочастотный звук, издаваемый кейсом при зарядке наушников. Оказалось, что это вполне нормально для данной модели.
Еще не маловажным пунктом считаю то, что оба уха могут работать раздельно и каждый их них может стать ведущим.
По прежнему непонятно, как определить оставшийся заряд в кейсе. Хотя, относительно самого наушника — подскажет ваш смартфон. Ниже поясню это на скриншоте.
Модель отлично работает через 2 стены и на расстоянии около 20 метров. При использовании на улице обрывов и заиканий не случалось. Со смартфоном, как и у всех блютуз устройств, задержка есть и составляет около 0.1 секунды. При звонке собеседник слышит меня нормально, как и я его.
Единственным открытым для меня вопросом остается переключение языков. В одном из обзоров было сказано, что для переключения наушников на английский язык надо при извлечении из кейса 5 раз нажать на кнопку. Но сколько я не нажимал — мои так и говорят на китайском. Хотя болтовни в них и немного: сообщение о включении и спаривании. Давайте теперь разберемся со звуком.
Звук
По умолчанию включается AAC кодек, что в принципе логично, с учетом арматурного излучателя внутри и приписке о HiFi звуке. Конечно, при наличии aptx, aptx hd или ldac было б еще веселее, но то только владельцам Android устройств. Да и, говоря откровенно, AAC тоже очень неплохой кодек, а в комплекте с хорошим драйвером — вообще мечта. Опять таки напомню молодым да ранним, что для качественного звука только кодека недостаточно, нужен еще и хороший динамик, ну или иной какой излучатель, находящийся внутри. И только в их симбиозе рождается действительно качественный звук.
В случае AAC, битрейт вполне допускает наличие хорошей детализации и очень приличное качество. И в данном случае ушки получились реально отменными. В них конечно нет того благородного почерка, что мы слышали у Whizzer TP1, зато с детализацией и той самой прозрачностью звука тут намного лучше. Поэтому, забегая наперед, скажу — именно эти ушки останутся у меня. Причиной тут конечно не только звук, но и время работы, емкость кейса, комплектные амбушюры и удобство ношения. То есть суммарно, на мой вкус, Mifo O5 — то что нужно, ну а о звуке мне тоже есть что добавить.
Бас тут быстрый текстурный и без какого то чрезмерного выделения. Контрабас и разнообразные синтезированные тембры звучат детально и, что достаточно удивительно для данного форм фактора, хорошо прорабатывают так называемый леерный бас, буквально раскладывая его на компоненты. А это уже уровень довольно взрослых наушников.
Середина в O5 мягкая, но прозрачная и в меру детальная. Вот чего тут точно достаточно — это сочности и выразительности, однако она не такая, как мы встречали у Whizzer TP1. Тут акцент не на жирном звуке, а как раз наоборот, на его деликатности. Мужской и женский джазовый вокал, как и разнообразные духовые инструменты имеют достаточный уровень телесности и реалистичности, а вот струнные, на мой вкус, излишне смягчены. Тут бы не помешало больше резкости и выраженный акцент на ВЧ.
Которые, логично, заметно притушены. В этом конечно есть плюс — ничего не режет, ни свистит и не раздражает — все очень мягко и естественно. Но некоторых отзвуков, в частности струн, количественно не хватает. Однако, это я уже спрашиваю с блютуз наушников как с полноценных проводных, подключенных к какому-нибудь стационарному Hi-Res устройству.
Сцена строится корректно, инструменты находятся на своих местах. По стилистике мне нравится все. Чаще всего я слушаю джаз и разнообразную акустическую музыку, но есть в моей фонотеке и электроника и хард и много всего другого разного. И со всем этим ушки справляются более чем достойно. Ну, со скидкой на блютуз конечно.

Итогом, наушники Mifo O5 — это как раз то, что лично я искал: огромной емкости комплектный кейс; шикарные амбушюры в наборе, которые подойдут практически всем и с которыми кейс нормально закрывается; возможность регулировать громкость непосредственно с наушников; удобство ношения и 6 часов работы на одном заряде — лично мне этого уже достаточно. Да и о звуке тут могу говорить исключительно в положительном ключе. Я конечно не знаю, что там в обычной версии, однако в Professional с его арматурным излучателем звук мне очень понравился: детальный, мягкий и достаточно прозрачный, а в совокупности с кодеком AAC мы и получаем то, о чем мечтает добрая половина меломанов. Лично я Mifo O5 оставил себе в качестве моих основных наушников вне дома.
