Safety warnings
Read and observe this information before using the tool. Failure to observe
the operating instructions may result in the tool becoming a source of danger.
When using electric power tools, observe the following basic safety
precautions to avoid electric shock as well as the risk of injury and fire.
Used carelessly, the tool can start an unintentional fire or injure persons.
Check the tool for any damage (mains connection lead, housing, etc.) before
putting it into operation, and do not use the tool if it is damaged. Do not
leave the tool switched on unattended. Children should be supervised to make
sure they do not play with the tool.
First time of use
A small quantity of smoke may develop when the tool is used for the first
time. This smoke is caused by binding agents released from the heater’s
insulating film during the first time of use. To let the smoke escape quickly,
the tool should be set down on its standing surface. The area you are working
in should be well ventilated when using the tool for the first time. Any smoke
coming out of the tool is not harmful!
Take the ambient conditions into account.
Do not expose electric power tools to rain. Do not use electrical power tools
when they are damp or in a damp or wet environment. Exercise care when using

Do not overload your tools.

the specified output range. Do not carry the tool by the power cord. Do not
unplug the tool by pulling on the power cord. Protect the power cord from
heat, oil, and sharp edges.
Always ensure that the blowout tube (including in combination with mounted
nozzle) is never completely covered or sealed. Damage to the heating element
or motor may otherwise result.
Beware of toxic gases and fire hazards.
Toxic gases may occur when working on plastics, paints, varnishes, or similar
materials. Beware of fire and ignition hazards. For your own safety, only use
accessories and attachments that are specified in the operating instructions
or recommended or specified by the tool manufacturer. Using attachments or
accessories other than those recommended in the operating instructions or
catalog may result in personal injury.
Repairs must only be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Tool description – Operation
Please note The distance from the object you are working on depends on the
material and intended method of working. Always try out the airflow and
temperature on a test piece first. Using the attachable accessory nozzles (see
accessories page on the cover) the flow of hot air can be controlled with
maximum precision. Take care when changing hot nozzles! When using the hot air
tool in the self-resting position, make sure it is standing on a stable, non-
slip, and clean surface. The tool is switched on and off by means of a two-
stage airflow switch 6. In settings 1 and 2, the temperature is continuously
variable at a thumbwheel 7 in 9 steps. The guard sleeve can be removed.
Maintenance
Fine dust filter
The HG 2220 E / HG 2420 E is supplied with a fine dust filter 3. To install
it, undo the air inlet and insert the filter. To clean it (with compressed
air), undo screws (a), take off the cover, and remove the filter.

Changing the power cord 9
If the power cord needs changing, this can easily be done without opening the
casing:
- Important! Disconnect tool from the power supply.
- Undo screw a and pull off cover cap b.
- Release cable grip c.
- Undo mains terminals d.
- Pull out cable e .
- Insert new cable and secure in reverse order (1. Firmly screw down mains terminals etc.).

Manufacturer’s Warranty
This STEINEL product has been manufactured with the utmost care, tested for
proper operation and safety, and then subjected to random sample inspection.
STEINEL guarantees that it is in perfect condition and in proper working
order.
HG 2220 E is guaranteed for 12 months or 750 hours of operation and HG 2420 E
for 12 months or 1000 hours of operation, each commencing on the date of sale
to the
consumer. We will remedy defects caused by material flaws or manufacturing
faults. The warranty will be met by repair or replacement of defective parts
at our own discretion. This guarantee does not cover damage to wearing parts,
damage, or defects caused by improper treatment or maintenance nor does it
cover breakage as a result of the product being dropped. Further consequential
damage to other objects shall be excluded.
Claims under warranty shall only be accepted if the product is sent fully
assembled and well packed complete with sales receipt or invoice (date of
purchase and dealer’s stamp) to the appropriate Service Centre or handed into
the dealer within the first 6 months.
Repair service:
If defects occur outside the warranty period or are not covered by the
warranty, ask your nearest service station for the possibility of repair.

В случае, если выбранные товарные позиции находятся на одном из внешних складов Европы или США, то срок доставки товара может составлять до 3-4 недель. Для избежания недоразумений, рекомендуем уточнить актуальные сроки поставки в отделе логистики или у менеджера компании.
В данном случае, как правило, 90% заказов доставляются заказчикам в течении первых 2 недель.
Если какая-либо часть товара из Вашего заказа отсутствует на складе, мы отгрузим все имеющиеся в наличии товары, а после поступления с внешнего склада оставшейся части заказа отправим Вам её за счёт нашей компании.
